How to recognize an oversized team with TEAMsCOM?

I think, one of the most straightforward use cases is the evaluation of the whole team. As you can see in this report  you can use a heat map to see overall relationships in the team. If you compare the intensity from both sides of the range then you will see huge differences.

You should focus on the most involved employees, they are probably overloaded and you should also focus on the less involved employee.

The ideal situation is when you are able to help overloaded employees by involving isolated employee to the working process.

To be sure that you do the right decision is good to use more charts. As you can see in the report we use a top communication chart for the less involved employee to check if he is not involved in the other group of people.

How to easily recognize an artificial team with TEAMsCOM?

To find out that your team does not act as one team is very easy.  You need only heat map to shows the relationships in the team and you can see if there are several teams inside one or not. This situation usually occurs when two teams are merged to one bigger team and old communication and collaboration relations still remain. These old relations can keep the progress back.

Generally speaking, it does not make a sense to keep people in one team when they do not have common goals and if they have common goals then it is necessary to adjust communication and collaboration relationships to support fulfillment of given goals.  Here is the promised report.

How to provide employee appraisal with TEAMsCOM?

An appraisal process is a quite formal process which brings the regular face to face meetings.  If you prepare reports for each team member as we prepared in this report, then you can get the same information about each team member and it significantly helps you to conduct evaluation meeting.

We use in this report charts which show the whole team, to get comparison across the team,  and charts which are dedicated to evaluation person only.

How to provide progress monitoring with TEAMsCOM?

This report shows how you can easily monitor disk area. It means you can define folders and files which you want to monitor and then you see how much effort is dedicated to each area. For example, if you are creating four specifications in one analytical team, you can control who is working on what and you can see the effort which is dedicated to each specification.

You can optimize the team and also effort, so you can avoid the situation that most skillful people spend too much time on less important tasks.  This report can be also valuable for long-term evaluation. You can see after several months how much you spend on what and then you can do better planning.
